Snip Snip Program

The Snip-Snip Program provides subsidised desexing for companion animals in the ACT and surrounding region. Under ACT law, cats must be desexed if they are over 3 months old and dogs when they are over 6 months old.

Terms and conditions

This program is only available to pension or health care card holders.

This program is subsidised only. All clients will be required to pay a small proportion of any costs incurred.

The client is responsible for booking their pet into the vet and arranging transport to and from the vet clinic.
